OwnMemory Terms of Use

Last updated: October 7, 2026. Provider: Hüseyin Hobek, info@gorunbase.com.

1. The service

OwnMemory builds a personal, source-backed memory from the audio you record and the notes you write: it transcribes recordings, extracts decisions, facts and tasks, and answers your questions based on your own sources. With your permission, this processing uses third-party AI providers (see the Privacy Policy and the AI processing notice).

2. Account

You use the app with Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for the security of your account and of access to your device. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Delete account).

3. Recording and acceptable use

4. AI output

Transcripts, extracted memory entries, tasks and answers are generated automatically and may be wrong or incomplete. Answers are checked against your sources and cite them; still, check the source before important decisions. OwnMemory does not give legal, medical or financial advice.

5. Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions (when offered) are purchased through the App Store, renew automatically at the end of each period and are charged to your Apple account. The price and duration are shown on the purchase screen. You can cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period in your Apple account's subscription settings. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Refunds follow Apple's rules. Apple's Standard License Agreement (EULA) also applies.

6. Changes to and end of the service

We may improve, change or discontinue the service; we will try to announce significant changes in advance. We may suspend your account if you seriously breach these terms.

7. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages or data loss.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
