Joining the beta

1. Install the TestFlight app from the App Store on your iPhone.
2. Email info@gorunbase.com for an invite, open the TestFlight link you receive and tap Accept.
3. Install OwnMemory and sign in with Apple.

You need an iPhone running iOS 26 or later.

Deleting your account

In the app, go to Settings → Delete Account. Once you confirm:

• your recordings, audio files, transcripts, memories and tasks are deleted;
• your consent records and sessions are deleted and your Sign in with Apple link is revoked;
• deleted data leaves the live system immediately and drops out of backups within 35 days at the latest.

Only Sign in with Apple can verify your account, so deletion happens in the app. If you've removed the app, reinstall it, sign in with the same Apple Account and delete your account from Settings.

Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Manage subscriptions in your Apple Account settings.

Exporting your data

Settings → Privacy & AI → Export My Data. Your notes, transcripts, memories and tasks are packaged into one file.

Turning off AI processing

Settings → Privacy & AI → AI Processing. From the moment you turn it off, nothing new is sent to AI providers. The "What is sent where" section on the same screen shows where everything goes.

Keeping audio recordings

Settings → Privacy & AI → Keep original audio. Keep audio files forever, for 30 days, for 90 days, or delete them once transcribed. When the period ends the audio is deleted and the transcript stays.

Common questions

• The answer says it couldn't find anything. OwnMemory only answers from your records. If what you're looking for isn't in them, it tells you instead of guessing.
• A new recording is still processing. Transcribing and extracting a long recording can take a few minutes. When it's done it shows up on Today and in your memory.
• A memory is wrong. Open the memory to correct or reject it. Rejected information isn't suggested again.
